Typically, a WordPress blog owner usually has their home page display their blog posts. In some instances, people don’t and want to know how to add a link to their blog in their navigation menu. This is actually pretty easy to do. So, here’s the step-by-step with screenshots for you to follow:
In your WordPress admin, left column, click on “Pages”, then “Add new Page”
Give the page a Title you’d like it to appear as in your navigation bar
In the template box on the right side column, select “blog”
If you have your primary navigation menu set to automatically display all pages after being created, your new “test” page should show up in your primary navigation menu. When you click on it, it will pull up all your blog posts.
If you have a custom menu created for your primary navigation menu, follow these steps to add the new page to your menu:
Click on “Appearance” then “Menu”
Scroll to the “page” menu box, check/click on the page you just created and “add to menu”
Drag and drop the item to the order you’d like it displayed in your menu, then click “save menu”
Your new page should now display on your primary navigation menu after refreshing your website.
